In a continued effort to increase efficiency within our service operations, NuSource Financial upgraded 24 Service Vehicles to the new fuel efficient Ford Transit, in 2010.

The Ford Transit has helped us reduce fuel expenses by 15%, in addition to significantly reducing our carbon footprint. Because we do not charge fuel surcharges to our customers, this was a proactive approach to keep our ongoing costs as low as possible.
