Congratulations are in order for Glenn Brown, January’s Noteworthy NuSourcee. Since 2008, Glenn has worked at NuSource as an ATM Field Service Technician in Nebraska. Glenn grew up in Northern California with his two brothers. As a hobby, his dad restored old collector’s cars and motorcycles, which introduced Glenn to his “mechanical” skills at a very young age. Glenn went on to study Mechanical Engineering at Arizona State University, and moved to Nebraska upon graduating in 1999.
Due to his love of the outdoors and golfing, Glenn changed career paths for nearly 10 years, and worked as a Forman at a country club in Nebraska. This allowed him to study abroad in turfgrass and agronomy, which took him to various locations throughout the U.S., Canada, and overseas. In 2008, Glenn moved back to the states and began working at NuSource.
Glenn and his wife, Marianne, have a daughter, McKenna, who is in high school. In his spare time, Glenn enjoys tinkering around the house, yard, and garden, or rooting for the Detroit Lions and Huskers. Glenn also spends much of his free time actively showing his Australian Shepherd, Brooklyn, in American Kennel Club shows. Brooklyn’s dad is nationally recognized as the #2 Aussie in America, so they have big shoes to fill!
