Noteworthy NuSourcee: Roger Langerud

February 2016:

Roger Langerud is this month’s Noteworthy NuSourcee. Congrats, Roger! For nearly 6 years, Roger has taken on the role of Service Operations Manager here at NuSource. Before Roger started his technical career, he served in the army for two years. After the army, he attended Dunwoody College. From there, Roger started servicing the financial industry as a Service Technician for Diebold. At the beginning of Roger’s career, he worked primarily on drive-up pneumatic systems. However, his area of expertise quickly broadened to include physical and electronic security equipment, as well as ATMs. Over time, Roger shifted his role into Field Tech Support, and then into Service Management/Installation and Service Sales. In 2010, Roger left Diebold and joined the NuSource team. As Service Operations Manager, Roger oversees all field operations and field service personnel. Thanks to Roger’s decades of experience, NuSource has added technical support to 11 states, bringing our territory coverage to a total of 20 states.

Outside of work, Roger spends much of his free time with family. He and his wife of 43 years have three fantastic children, who have all found outstanding spouses. His kids have blessed him with eight, soon to be nine, grandchildren who keep Roger on his toes! Roger’s hobbies include pheasant and deer hunting, walking in the woods and snow, and fixing things.

Keep up the great work, Roger!
